Our American Flag Program proudly displays the spirit of patriotism that unites our community. This impactful fundraiser supports the Kiwanis Club of Allen and benefits local groups like Local Scouts of America troops and school teams/clubs. By participating, you help make a difference for children and uplift our community.
The Kiwanis Club of Allen proudly sponsors the American Flag Program, serving the Allen, Fairview, and Lucas areas. This program gives residents a meaningful way to honor our nation and support our Armed Forces by displaying a beautiful American flag in their yard on seven patriotic holidays each year—all while contributing to our efforts to support and uplift children in our community.
How It Works
When you sign up, our team will install a plastic sleeve flush with the ground near your curb to hold a 3’ x 10’ flagpole (capped to ensure it doesn’t interfere with mowing). On each of these holidays, our Flag Teams will place the flag and retire it shortly afterward—no effort needed on your part:
