Service Leadership Programs

Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs are leadership and character-building programs hosted in local schools or community agencies and sponsored by a Kiwanis club. Service Leadership Programs have existed since the first Key Club was founded in 1925.  Since then, millions of students have been inspired to lead lives of service and significance through programs for all ages.

Circle K International Sponsorships

Circle K International is the world’s largest student-led collegiate service organization, with thousands of members on hundreds of campuses on five continents across the globe. The collegiate branch of the Kiwanis International family, CKI is committed to developing leaders by offering unique service, leadership and fellowship opportunities that not only change the world but change members’ lives. The Kiwanis Club of Allen sponsors the following club:

Key Club Sponsorships

Key Club members around the world are learning how to lead and stand for what’s right through service and volunteerism. In partnership with their local Kiwanis club, high school students are making a positive impact as they serve others in their schools and communities. We currently sponsor the following Key Clubs by providing financial support, scholarships, and direct professional mentoring:

Kiwanis Terrific Kids Sponsor

Pizza, certificates, pens and ice cream coupons! We honor student achievement through their deeds and actions at school. Terrific Kids is a student-recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem and perseverance. “Terrific” is an acronym for Thoughtful, Enthusiastic, Respectful, Responsible, Inclusive, Friendly, Inquisitive and Capable. We are currently sponsoring Terrific Kids programs at Allen and Lovejoy ISDs. If you are a teacher, or have a connection with an elementary school and would like to partner with us to create a Terrific Kids program, let us know.
