Ron Gentry Memorial Golf Tournament

In 1975 Ron Gentry became the first paid employee of the Allen Fire Department as the part-time Fire Chief

Allen Kiwanis Club’s Annual Ron Gentry Memorial Golf Tournament brings fun activities to the Courses at Watters Creek. The tournament takes place in October of each year as a four person scramble. It also includes raffle prizes, team prizes, a hole-in-one competition, a ball drop, closest-to-the pin and longest drive contests.

Registration includes a boxed lunch and raffle tickets. All proceeds are invested right back into our community to support our many services projects, including the Angel League Allen, Key Clubs at Allen and Frisco ISDs, providing dictionaries for all Allen & Lovejoy ISD third graders, college scholarships, sponsorship of University of Texas at Dallas Circle K Program, and much more.
